Archna reached out to me last minute for a maternity session and after we chatted and I learned about her situation I couldn’t say no and I’m glad I didn’t. This couple was incredible, fun and amazing to work with and it was an absolute joy to be able to capture these maternity photos for them. I am beyond thankful to have had the opportunity to shoot together!
What a perfect afternoon that I couldn’t have asked to spend with a sweeter or kinder couple. These two made all our shots flow so smoothly and we were able to capture a million amazing moments because there really were a million of them.
As I was shooting some of the moments between these two I just remember thinking “wow, when this beautiful little girl arrives, she is going to be SO loved,” and I think getting the chance to capture all that love is the best job in the world.

Looking for your own Toronto maternity photographer?
The best time to book maternity photos is between 28-34 weeks, give or take a week. If you book too early, you may not be showing enough yet, but if you wait too long, you may be uncomfortable. It will differ for everyone so if you’re showing early, you can definitely book closer to 28 weeks, but if it’s taking a while for you to pop, schedule your maternity session a little bit later. If you’re looking for some tips on what to wear, I wrote a blog post all about what to wear to your maternity session. And when you’re ready to book, you can check my prices, schedule your session right from my website, or contact me if you have questions first!
Anchor Studio Photography specializes providing a full service experience that starts with booking your session and ends with getting beautiful tangible heirloom products being displayed in your home.
