Dreamy maternity photo shoot at Scarborough Bluffs Beach – Toronto Photographer

August 8, 2020

Maternity photo sessions are my absolute favourite! My goal with every maternity photo shoot is to capture the miracle you represent yourself at this moment, making you feel comfortable and beautiful. Expectant mothers are beautiful and fascinating. They have an incredible glow, beauty from inside out, sacred mystery. Pregnant women are beautiful in their changing body, in their quiet expectancy and love.

Photographing Stephanie’s maternity photos at sunset at Scarborough Bluffs Beach was such a special photo shoot to capture for her family. Stephanie is in her last months of pregnancy, and it felt so meaningful to capture this bond between her husband and puppies – memories she’ll always looks back on and want to relive.

We met in the evening at the beach, and truthfully the light was a bit odd that day– not overcast, but sort of red and hazy. We wandered through the meadow of late summer grass, and explored the caves by the water. It was one of those sessions that just feels effortless.
