I love at home newborn sessions as much as I love studio ones! I’m also finding clients are requesting lifestyle sessions in their space a lot more and more these days. At home sessions are perfect for parents that want to capture their new baby in their arms in their cozy space.
I love documenting the love parents share for the new addition. Baby Niles was lucky to also have his grandparents visit and want to join in his newborn session.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM AN AT HOME NEWBORN SESSION
Most newborn sessions are scheduled during weekdays when the natural light is best in your master bedroom, nursery or living room. I love to use the master bedroom as a safe place for baby snuggles as a family and incorporate siblings engaging with your new baby.
Parents are worry about not having a perfect home for newborn photos. Not to worry – most don’t. All I need for a successful newborn shoot is a bed and a window in your home. When you contact me to book, we talk about when natural light is best in your home as well as send you a guide on how to simplify your space for your session.
